An LEI is only valid for one year. You will automatically receive a message 6 weeks before the LEI expires to renew it. Renewing your LEI has never been easier.
Follow the step-by-step plan:
Step 1: Register to My GS1
Log in to My GS1.
Step 2: Renewing your LEI
Under "order products", choose "renew an IEL", and follow the instructions.
Step 3: Validation of your LEI
As soon as your order is placed, your request will be analysed and must be validated.
Step 4: Confirmation of your renewal
You will receive a confirmation e-mail when the transfer of your LEI is completed.
